What Happens Next

Submission received — thank you!

Your masterpiece is now parked in the waiting room waiting for a decision. Here is exactly what happens before it goes live on the chart.

01

DMA Officer Screening

Automated — within minutes

  • Your submission is immediately scanned by our AI-powered DMA Officer.
  • It checks for copyright similarities or exact reproductions of existing music.
  • It detects ear-piercing high-pitch notes or audio anomalies that would disqualify a track.
  • Songs flagged at this stage are referred back to you automatically and you will be notified by email. Your song remains in the waiting room for 48 hrs giving you ample time to make a decision. The email contains an option to repair your song so the DMA Officer will approve. You will be notified and have admin support through the process.
02

Staff Final Review

Human check — usually within 24 hours

  • Songs that pass DMA screening are queued for review by an aiTop100Songs staff member.
  • The reviewer checks that the song has genuine meaning, narrative structure, and artistic intent.
  • Content is assessed against our Terms & Conditions — no extremely offensive, hateful, or incoherent lyrics.
03

Email Notification

Outcome delivered to your inbox

  • Once screening is complete you will receive an email at the address you provided.
  • Approved songs are added to the next available slot in the chart list and immediately open for public voting.
  • Rejected submissions include a reason so you can improve and resubmit.
  • Top-performing Waiting Room songs are promoted into the official Top 100 chart.
04
